The Annual General Meeting of the World Federation of Acrobatic and Swing Dances (WFASD) was held on 26 Novembre, 2023 in Moscow (Russian Federation) at the Gymnastics Palace of Irina Viner.

The WFASD AGM was chaired by Mrs. Oumy Sene (Senegal).

The WFASD General Meeting voted for admission of the following federations: the Belarus DanceSport Alliance (Republic of Belarus), the All Russian Federation of DanceSport, Breaking and Acrobatic Rock’n’Roll (Russian Federation), the National Committee for the Development of Sports Dance (Republic of Senegal), Botswana Federation of Acrobatic and Swing Dances (Republic of Botswana), Kazakhstan DanceSport Federation (Republic of Kazakhstan).

Mrs. Oumy Sene was elected the President of the World Federation of Acrobatic and Swing Dances (WFASD) for a 4-year term. 

Mrs. President noted that her primary task was to expand the number of WFASD Member Bodies, organize educational seminars to train coaches and judges, international training camps and competitions.

The WFASD Presidium members were elected:

Nadezhda Erastova (Russian Federation) - Vice-President for General Affairs

Igor Vinkovich (Croatia) - Vice-President for Education

Akshai Unecha (India) - Vice-President for Legal Affairs

Andrey Serov (Russian Federation) - Vice-President for Communications

Elena Zhokova (Russian Federation) - Financial Director

Roman Lobarev (Republic of Belarus) - Sports Director

The AGM approved the WFASD Regulations on the Expert Committee, Admission and Membership Fees for 2024.
